Ukraine's power facilities have come under escalating attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in power cuts in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Simultaneously, a young boy was killed in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southeastern part, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has escalated attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 rockets struck energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.
